Cosmology studies the origin and evolution of the universe. From the Big Bang to the present, and also to the future. In cosmology one works in the scientific study, on a large scale, of the properties of the universe as a whole. It is not an ordinary task. Trying to find answers to the destiny of the universe, or to its origin, are not, much less, minor issues.
