The correct answer is the shoulder joint. We have two ball and socket joints in the body they are the shoulder and the hip. Ball and socket joint provides swinging and rotating movement in the body. In this type of joint, one bone has a smooth, ball-shaped head that fits into a cup like socket on the other end, hence the name ball and socket.
