Meg, if the original expression is  (M^4/5)(n^33/5), there's not much one can do with this, other than to take out the (1/5) in both exponents:

(M^4/5)(n^33/5) = (m^4)^(1/5) * (n*33)^(1/5).


This can be simplified to  [ m^4 * n^33)^(1/5).  Thanks for using those parentheses!  Without them, I really wasn't sure what to do.
