The waves that exceed their vertical stability because of their height are called rogue waves. This waves appear surprisingly, let's say it out of nowhere, and are freak, rogue, giant waves, that are too high, too asymmetric, too steep, and their height significantly exceeds the height of the standard waves by 2-2.2 times.
