Disarmament policy
Armament which is the increased militarization of society through the employment of personnel and weapons is one of the major causes of world conflicts from the ww1 to the cold war. Disarmament is an effort to steer societies in the opposite direction. It remains just a policy as nations have consistently pursued the opposite.
