If Bruce reads for 3/4 of an hour each night and he wants to know how long he'll have read in 4 nights, then we'll need to do some multiplication. We need to multiply 3/4 * 4/1. Multiply straight across to get 12/4, which simplifies to 3 hours in 4 nights.
