Romeo and Juliet's main problem was they were two young lovers whose lives are ruined by a conflict that has been going on with the parents.
I think that Romeo and Juliet's parents didn't see eye to eye on things and their love was forbidden but they knew they couldn't live without each other. The parents were part of the Montagues and Capulets.

Hope this helped :)
Have a great day
