We can use trigonometry to solve this problem. Sin=opposite/hypotenuse. So, sin(65)=22/x. ( 22 is opposite because it’s the opposite to the labeled angle (65 degree angle). X is the hypotenuse ( we can find the hypotenuse by finding the right angle, hypotenuse is always located opposite to the right angle, or it can be found just by looking at the picture, hypotenuse will be the longest side.). Next, cross multiplication can be used. It’ll look like this: Sin65/1=22/x Sin(65)x=22. X=22/sin(65). X=24.27.
