The volume of a sphere is given by [tex]V=( \frac{4}{3} ) \pi r^{3} [/tex]. Since the radius is 16cm we replace r with 16 to obtain: [tex]V=( \frac{4}{3} ) \pi (16)^{3}=( \frac{4}{3} )(4096) \pi = \frac{16384}{3} \pi [/tex] centimeters cubed.

That's the exact answer. If you divide you get 5,461.3 (with the 3 repeating)
