I'm not sure how to solve this.

[tex]\sqrt{y + 7} = \frac{1}{6}y[/tex]
[tex](\sqrt{y + 7})^{2} = (\frac{1}{6})^{2}[/tex]
[tex]y + 7 = \frac{1}{36}[/tex]
[tex]y = -6\frac{35}{36}[/tex]
