Write 144 with an exponent by using 12 as a base. 
The first step to write this is to find out what is a base, and what is d exponent:-

a^b
OR
7²

a = base
7 = base
b = exponent 
2 = exponent 

So lets write 144 as and exponent and 12 as d base.

12^144
