The solid in the picture is a cylinder; thus, we can use the following formula:

[tex]V=\pi*r^2h[/tex]

This formula works even if the solid is slanted.
The radius is 6 cm and the height is 5 cm.
[tex]r=6[/tex]
[tex]h=5[/tex]

Plug in these values into the volume formula.

[tex]V=\pi*r^2h[/tex]

[tex]=\pi*6^2*5=\pi*36*5=180 \pi[/tex]
