The triangular sides are 3-4-5 right triangles, so have a perimeter of 12 in.
Area = triangular area(s) + rectangular area(s)
.. = 2*(1/2)*(3 in)*(4 in) + (12 in)*(2 in)
.. = 12 in^2 +24 in^2
.. = 36 in^2
