A(-2,-9) and B(-5,-8)

The equation form: y = mx + b. Calculate m, the slope:

m = (y₂-y₁) ÷ (x₂-x₁)→ m = [(-8) - (-9)] ÷ [(-5) - (-2)] →m = (-8+9)÷(-3) = -3

y = -3.x + b. To calculate b, plugin any of A or B coordinates, say A(-2,-9)

-9 = -3(-2)+b → b = -3

Finally te equation y = -3x -3
