Multiply the first equation by 5 to use the elimination method.

-5x+25y=-90
5x-9y=10

16y=-80
y=-5

Plug this y value into one of the original equations.

-x+5(-5)=-18
-x-25=-18
-x=7
x=-7

Final answer: (-7,-5)
