Acromiodeltoid is the shortest of the deltoid muscles. In humans, its is present over the upper arm and shoulder. It causes forward, backward, raising the arm in a flapping motion, rotation of the arm. It also helps in medial rotation of the humerus bone. It originates from scapula and clavicle and inserts into the humerus.
