Write the equation of the line with a slope of -1/3 and passing through the point (6, -4).

y = -1/3x + b
then plug it in
-4 = (-1/3 x 6) + b. (6 times -1 divided by 3)
-4 = -2 + b. (move -2 to other side)
b = -2. (now put em all together)
y = -1/3x -2
