According to the reaction

  • 2 moles of SO_2 produce 4 moles of CO
  • 0.25moles of SO_2 produce 1mol of CO

No of moles in 17g of CO

[tex]\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{17}{28}=0.6mol[/tex]

Moles of SO_2

[tex]\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.6(0.25)[/tex]

[tex]\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.15mol[/tex]
