slope = -1/2

we use point B and point A to find the slope

A(-2,1)    B(-4,2)

-2 = x1

1 = y1

-4 = x2

2 = y2

the formula for slope is: y/x = y1 - y2  /  x1 - x2 = 1 -2 / -2-(-4) = -1/2
