when a zero repeats, it has a multiplicity of how many times it repeats
we see that (x+8) repeats 3 timess
set them to zero

x+8=0
x=-8

x-3=0
x=3

roots are -8 and 3

-8 has a multilicty of 3

so
roots are 3 and -8 multiplicty 3
