The way in which a weak economy affects jobs is that it leads to unemployment as people lose their jobs.

What is a Weak Economy?

This refers to the type of economy that has little to no macroeconomic growth over a period of time.

Hence, we can see that if a country has a weak economy, it means that basic economic needs are not being met and this leads to retrenchment which is loss of jobs.
