No. It wasn't.

All the US reasons for the War were very lame.

Had it been for Bin Laden, the country would've backed its military up, after his assassination. But it wasn't the case.

The real American motive seems like, was to rule the country, as it had done its policy of "mocracy", over other nations, like, Libya and Iraq.
