Answer:

Angles 1 and 2 are vertically opposite and angles 3 and 4 are vertically opposite and as such the are congruent.

  • m∠3 = 142° ⇒
  • m∠4 = m∠3 = 142°

Angles 1 and 3 are supplementary and angles 2 and 4 are supplementary and as such sum to 180°.

  • m∠1 = 180° - 142° = 38°
  • m∠2 = m∠1 = 38°
