According to the unit circle, the value of sin will be :

[tex] \boxed{\boxed{\longrightarrow \dfrac{ - \sqrt{3} }{2} }}[/tex]

Since, value of sin[tex](\theta)[/tex] is always negative in the fourth quadrant, therefore it can't be [tex]\dfrac{1}{2}[/tex].
