Given:-

I = a + (n - 1)d [Given formula]

To Find:-

Find d when I = 10, a = 2, n = 5

Solution:-

I = a + (n - 1)d [Given]

Putting the value of I = 10, a = 2, n = 5 we get,

10 = 2 + (5 - 1)d

10 = 2 + 4d

10 - 2 = 4d

8 = 4d

d = [tex] \frac{8}{4} [/tex]

d = 2

Value of d is 2. [Answer]
