Help!!
A farmer estimated that there were 25 gallons of water left in a tank. if this is an underestimate by 16%, how much was actually in the tank?​

29 gallons.

explanation:

to find the percent of a number, you must multiply that number by the prevent in the form of a decimal. i.e 16% =0.16

25 * 0.16 =4

25 + 4 = 29

you add the 4 because that is 16% of 25 and you’re adding it because there were more gallons than estimated.
