A mutation is a change in the DNA sequence which may or may not cause changes in the organism that could be good or bad. Sometimes an organism will mutate and it will give it an ability the other organism don’t have. This would give it an edge over the others or it’s own “superpower”. For example some mice have mutated their fur color. This allows them to hide better again predators.
