The Sum of three consecutive interfere is -96. What is the largest interference

I assume where you have said 'interfere', you mean integer because that would make a whole load more sense!

Okay so let's call the smallest of the three integers x. Since they are consecutive (i.e separated by 1 each), the other two numbers are x+1 and x+2.

Since the sum of the three numbers is -96:

x + (x+1) + (x+2) = -96
3x + 3 = -96
3x = -99
x = -33

This means the three numbers are -33, -32 and -31.
