Cellular respiration and photosynthesis have the opposite formulas of each other. Cellular respiration is C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6CO2 + 6H2O and photosynthesis is 6CO2 + 6H2O --> C6H12O6 + 6O. Because both require the products of the other equation, they are balanced.
