A baker pays $0.65 per pound for sugar and $1.20 per pound for butter. I need to write an expression that shows how much the baker will spend if he buys 8 pounds of butter and 15 pounds of sugar. Please help me, I am stumped.

$0.65•15= $9.75 (sugar) $1.20•8=$9.60 (butter)
