How to solve:

1. Take f, which is 27, and plug that in for x.

[tex]\(f(27)=\) \(\sqrt{2x-5}\)[/tex]
[tex]\(f(27)=\) \(\sqrt{2(27)-5}\)[/tex]

2. multiply 27 by 2.
2 x 27 = 54
[tex](f(27)=\) \(\sqrt{54-5}\)[/tex]

3. Subtract 5 from 54.
54 - 5 = 49
[tex](f(27)=\) \(\sqrt{49}\)[/tex]

4. square root 49.

[tex](f(27)=\) \(7}\)[/tex]

The answer is 7.
