slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) for points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
given (-2,2) and (0,5)
slope=(5-2)/(0-(-2))=3/(0+2)=3/2

y=mx+b
m=slope
y=3/2x+b
