       ([tex]x^{2}[/tex]+2x-3) (x+5) = 0

   ([tex]x^{3}[/tex]+7[tex]x^{2}[/tex]+7x-15=0

∵ Equation has three values or roots

∴ It's degree should be three (degree - highest power of variable)
