Bartolomé de las Casas' behavior was quite differ from Columbus's behaviour. Bartolomé de las Casas is officially known as ''Protector of the Indians" because he raised his voice and fought for the rights of the natives and treat them very well whereas Columbus was not good with the native people. He captured the natives and make them slaves who work for him and also sold it at a good price.
