The resulting equation is x = [tex]log_{3/2} 3[/tex]

3ˣ = 3 × 2ˣ

divide both sides by 2ˣ

3ˣ / 2ˣ = (3 × 2ˣ) / 2ˣ

3ˣ / 2ˣ = 3

Note  3ˣ / 2ˣ = (3 / 2)ˣ

log both sides

Therefore,

[tex]log_{3/2} [/tex]( 3 / 2)ˣ = [tex]log_{3/2}3 [/tex]

Finally,

x = [tex]log_{3/2} 3[/tex]
