First divide both sides of the inequality by 3.

On the left, the 3's cancel and you're left with j

and on the right, 6 divided by 3 is 2.

So we have j >2 which is the solution to this inequality.

I have graphed the inequality for you below.

Start with an open dot on 2.

We use an open dot because j > 2 but it is not equal to 2.

Then draw an arrow to the left to

represent all numbers greater than 2.
