let x represent the volume of B then using proportion

[tex]\frac{8}{400}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{27}{x}[/tex] ( cross- multiply )

8x = 10800 ( divide both sides by 8 )

x = 1350

The volume of solid  B = 1350 cm³
