There are many different types of snowflakes. This fact is easy to see when they're magnified, for example at a ratio of 48:1, in cm. If the magnified image of a snowflake is 18 cm, how large is it in real life?

The real snowflake is 1/48th of the magnified image, so 1/48 * 18 = .375cm
