Yes, it supports the students hypothesis.

Explanation:

To prove her hypothesis, the student poured the same amount of water through filters holding different types of soil. As we can see from the results the amount of water collected from the sand soil and silt soil was far more than the amount of water collected in the beaker which was filtered holding clay soil. This shows  that the clay absorbed most of the water and only a little drained off in the beaker.
