Biuret test is a kind of chemical testing used to detect if there is a presence of peptide bonds in the protein of a given sample. It uses a blue Biuret Reagent and it turns to purple once peptide bonds are detected. The limitation on this kind of test is that, it does not indicate the amount of proteins present in the sample.
