# of students who wore red = 150

# of students who did not wear red = 250

Total #. of students = 150 + 250

                                   = 400

Percentage of students who wore red =

(# of students who wore red/Total #) * 100 = (150/400) * 100 = 37.5

∴ No of students who wore red = 37.5%
