The answer would be D, smooth muscle cells. Tissues are made of cells that work together to accomplish a purpose. Red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets are all cells found in blood that made up blood tissue. Smooth muscle cells made up smooth muscle tissue, but are not a component of blood.
