The biggest challenge is the fact that technology changes with lightning speed. All IT workers much continually upgrade their skills or they quickly become irrelevant. Another challenge is working with users who are not technology experts. Many people are not interested in improving their own technical skills and depend heavily on IT to fix everything, including problems that a user with some limited knowledge could address.
