Wherever humans have hunted, grown food, or settled, they have changed the environment.

Some ways they affected the environment:

1) Native Americans tribes hunted buffalo.

2) The tribes also set fire to burn prairies and prevent growth of trees.

This left the prairie as an open grassland fit to hunt bison.
