Solve the equation.

–x – 4 = –20

  -x -4 = -20

  -x    =  -16  ( -4 becomes + 4 on changing sides )

   x    =  16    ( cancel both the minus signs )


 x = 16

the answer is that the x= 16

i got this answer like this


-x -4 = -20 subtract 4 by both sides

-x = 16 add it all up

-16 -4 = -20

use your calculator if you think im wrong but this is the method i use and it is 100% correct
