From 3-8 all you have to do is make it into an expanded form. For example on question 3 it would be 2y+10x because you need to multiply what is on the outside of the parentheses with what is on the inside. So for the rest on them multiply what is on the outside of the parentheses with what is on the inside. Also make sure that you do both the first number and the second one as well.
Correct way: 2(y+5x) =2y+10x
Incorrect way: 2(y+5x) =2y+5y
