2x + y = −3 −2y = 6 + 4x Write each equation in slope-intercept form.

slope intercept form is y=mx+b

so solve for y


2x+y=-3

minus 2x both sides

y=-2x-3


-2y=6+4x

divide both sides by -2

y=-3-2x

y=-2x-3
