The absolute value - or distance from zero, is fairly simple to find. Make your final answer positive to find it.

[tex]|\frac{10-7}{4}| = |\frac{3}{4}| = |.75| = .75[/tex]

[tex]|\frac{-15+8}{6}| = |-\frac{7}{6}| = |-1.2| = 1.2[/tex]
