The lengths of the sides of a triangle are consecutive odd integers. The perimeter of the triangle is 249cm. Find the lengths of the sides.

the smallest side will be called x
[tex]x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 249 \\ 3x + 6 = 249 \\ 3x = 243 \\ x = 81[/tex]
so our side lengths are 81, 83 and 85
