Find X-3y if x=3 and y=-2

I don’t know how to do this please help explain with the answer!! ....thanx

The answer is Negative 6 because replace the x with 3 and the y with 2. Therefore your problem would be 3-3(2) and multiplication comes first so you would multiply then subtract
